Spring Free Admission Day

Admission is free. Registration is not required, but appreciated. 

About This Event

Four days a year, the Minnesota Historical Society will provide FREE admission to its historic sites and museums! Take this opportunity to learn more about our state's history, at no cost to you. 

The historic sites and museums that usually have an admission fee but will be FREE on these days include:

METRO

  • Historic Fort Snelling, St. Paul
  • James J. Hill House, St. Paul (Self-guided tours only)
  • Mill City Museum, Minneapolis (Flour Tower tours not available)
  • Minnesota History Center, St. Paul
  • Oliver Kelley Farm, Elk River

GREATER MINNESOTA

  • Charles Lindbergh House and Museum, Little Falls
  • Comstock House, Moorhead
  • Folsom House, Taylors Falls
  • Forest History Center, Grand Rapids
  • Historic Forestville, Preston
  • Jeffers Petroglyphs, Comfrey
  • Lower Sioux Agency, Morton
  • Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post, Onamia
  • Sibley Historic Site, Mendota
  • Snake River Fur Post, Pine City
  • Split Rock Lighthouse, Two Harbors
  • W.W. Mayo House, Le Sueur

Please note that not all standard programming and tours will be available during free days.
