Join us for a complimentary cup of coffee at this informal presentation and discussion, part of our "Coffee Chats" series covering many aspects of Fort history.

Learn about how medical technology has evolved over the past 200 years through the lens of the historic fort. We will discuss how post surgeons would have treated the soldiers before the invention of modern medicines (i.e. penicillin) and technologies like the x-ray, how these practices changed and developed through the 19th and 20th centuries, and what aspects of these treatments are still present in medicine today.
